Five minutes of your time could help save the koala.

Five minutes of your time could help save the koala. Right now, you have an opportunity to have your say on the the future of our state’s koalas and their homes. Take action with our quick online form!

Mary --

Without urgent action, koalas could disappear from our state’s treetops forever.

The NSW government has just put together a plan that’s supposed to save our koalas.

Which would be great, except their plan is destined to fail in its current form. It doesn’t even address the koala’s main threats — land clearing and native forest logging.

Have your say on the koala plan — tell our government you want them to take real action to save the koala.

Recently, our political leaders scrapped our land-clearing laws, some of the most important protections keeping koalas safe from the chainsaw. They also plan to renew the failed Regional Forest Agreements, subjecting koalas to another 20 years of habitat destruction on public land.

Koalas are an icon for NSW, and this plan could be a real opportunity to guarantee their future. But our government’s solution largely involves throwing a small sum of money at the problem while ignoring these root causes that are wiping out koalas.
