NSW Greens MP and Forests spokesperson, Dawn Walker joined community members and representatives from the Bellingen Environment Centre, on Monday (12 February), taking direct action to protect a mother and joey koala from logging operations in Gladstone State Forest, near Bellingen.

"Forestry Corp is logging in the Gladstone State Forest. This is proven koala habitat and yet another forest in our Shire where destructive logging practices are impacting our water catchment, biodiversity and the lives of forest neighbours. Regional Forest Agreements are destroying our native forests. #RFAsNoWay #KoalasAreHereToStay" Dawn Walker
