Greens spokesperson for democracy Senator Lee Rhiannon said, "What's the chance corruption only happens in state politics? The case for a federal ICAC is now overwhelming.
"Liberal Minister Mathias Cormann has previously argued that we already have a 'robust framework to fight corruption' at the federal level. That is demonstrably untrue.
"The Greens have legislation to install a federal anti-corruption body ready to go and we will continue to call on the major parties and the crossbench to work with us.
"A few months ago Labor leader Bill Shorten said he was willing to have an 'open and honest discussion' about a federal ICAC - well let's have that conversation right now.
"We're willing to work with Labor to make sensible amendments to our legislation," Senator Rhiannon said.
The Greens' National Integrity Commission Bill is currently before parliament.
